Nayeon, a member of the massively popular Kpop group TWICE, became the first Honor Society of Community Chest of Korea member by donating 30 million won. The donation will be used for the surgery expenses of the medically vulnerable through the Ulsan Donggang Foundation, which operates Ulsan Donggang Hospital.
Nayeon expressed her gratitude and said,
"It is a great honor to be the first to join the Honor Society in 2024. Although it is a small gesture, I will work hard this year to become an artist who has a positive influence."

On January 4th, at the JYP Entertainment office in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, a membership ceremony was held for TWICE's Nayeon, who joined the Honor Society of Community Chest of Korea, as the first nationwide 1st member in 2024.
It was also revealed, that in 2022, Nayeon also donated 20 million won anonymously to Ulsan Fruit of love to help patients who cannot receive proper treatment due to the poor medical environment in the provinces. After learning that 10 patients had received treatment with the donation, she donated an additional 30 million won to become the first nationwide Honor Society of Community Chest of Korea member in 2024.
