BLACKPINK's Jennie has announced that she has started her own company and personal label, ODDATELIER. Jennie announced today December 24, 2023 that she has established her own company for her solo endeavors and asking for the support of her new company and of course current Kpop group, BLACKPINK. She posted this announcement to her personal instagram:
According to Jennie, her company OA, or, ODD ATELIER, is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected. It is also stated on the ODDATELIER instagram that the label was founded by JENNIE in November of 2023.
Jennie co-founded the company with her mother, and their official site continues to crash since Jennie announced it on instagram, due to the overwhelming number of visits to the site.
YG has confirmed that BLACKPINK has renewed their contract with them for group activities for BLACKPINK, but it's now confirmed that the individual members will execute their solo activities individually, outside of YG Entertainment.
